Working directly for ESG (formerly Bureau Veritas), City Surveys was appointed to perform high-resolution ground penetrating radar scans on seven electricity sub-stations on the London Underground. As part of this process it was necessary to determine concrete cover depth, the presence, diameter and spacing of rebar as well as the location of any voids. As with all of our concrete scanning services, full CAD drawings and analytical reports were delivered for each sub-station.
