Setting Out and Levelling
City Surveys’ policy on setting out is that all senior setting out engineers must have a minimum of ten years experience of setting out a wide variety of different structures and features.
Whilst the majority of our setting out is based around the civil and rail sectors, we regularly provide setting out services on housing developments both small and large, schools and colleges, recreational parks, footpaths and water ways.
By using the very latest robotic Trimble equipment a one man survey approach can be adopted saving time, eliminating errors due to poor communication and keeping rates very competitive for our clients. Design information can then be readily uploaded onto the instrument and set out in real time.
Our setting out services can be quoted for on a lump sum basis or, alternatively, on a day rate. In doing this the client can maintain adequate engineering support for their job whilst being able to pick up or put down the engineer as and when they want.
All City Surveys setting out engineers are CSCS card holders, come with their own equipment and are trained to verify, check and then double check their own work prior to handing the job over.
